This image has been desaturated to the threshold of perception of color. I find that comparison of this with cool, neutral and warm toned black and white images to be very interesting. It looks most like the warm toned prints and I wonder if that is part of why I find them more pleasing. Perhaps we can imagine color better when looking at warm toned black and white prints?
