Stilled Lives with Silos: “Stilled Lives with Silos” is based on the scenes one sees driving through farm country. I am struck by the ability to abandon, build over, ignore and move on, which all that open space appears to allow. I’m trying to capture that spirit. It also appears in the Southwest in the ways that industry calmly tramples the landscape and is apparently proud of it. As works are completed they will be added.
